Crewe Railway Station

Crewe Railway Station is a Cheshire Best Kept Station.

Crewe Railway Station, under the management of Sam Dixon, has won two awards. 

In 2008 Crewe won the Cheshire's Year of Garden Award for the garden installation at the railway station. 

In 2009, the station won the Customer Care Award for the exceptional service they provide to their customers as they pass througn this busy junction railway station.

The opening of the Cheshire Lounge for First Class ticket-holders at Crewe in 2009 marked a significant improvement at the station, where floral displays have been welcomed as adding a dash of colour.

On receiving the  2009 Award, Sam Dixon, Station Manager for Virgin Trains at Crewe, said: "This is a great award for this important gateway station, recognising the hard work and excellent customer service offered by all the team."
