Knutsford Railway Station

Knutsford Railway Station is a Cheshire Best Kept Station.

Knutsford won the Youth Challenge Award in the Cheshire Best Kept Station Competion 2010.

In 2009, Knutsford Railway Station was named Best Kept Station in Cheshire East and in 2008, the station won the ACoRP Award which recognises Partnership working within the community.

The success and transformation at Knutsford Railway Station is due to the dedicated work carried out at the Station by students from Knutsford High School.

The Station now has its own Platform Art Gallery with painting by students from the school.

The gardens and flower troughs are tended by a Garden Group from the school.

Partnership working has come through support given by Cheshire East Council, Knutsford Town Council, the Mid Cheshire Community Rail Partnership and Northern Rail.
