Mobberley Railway Station
Mobberley Railway Station is a Cheshire Best Kept Station.
Mobberley Railway Station is tended by members of the Mobberley Village Society.
The station has won four awards in the Cheshire Best Kept Station Competition.
In 2004 it was named Cheshire's Best Kept Station.
The award was presented by the late Gwyneth Dunwoody MP, who was then Chairlady of the Parliamentry Transport Committee.
Mrs Dunwoody on congratulating the Village Society said "The Best Kept Station Competition is just what the County needs and Mobberley Village Society proves this. It brings the best out in people and provides a focus in our towns and villages".
Mobberley won the Roberts Bakery Award in 2005, was named Cheshire's Tidiest Station in 2006 and won the Cheshire Community Award in 2007.
The Station is supported by the Mid Cheshire Community Rail Partnership and MCRUA - the Mid Cheshire Rail Users Association.
