Neston Railway Station

Neston Railway Station is a Cheshire Best Kept Station.

Neston Railway won the Cheshire Youth Challenge Award in 2008.

This award is sponsored by Cheshire Crimebeat - the High Sheriff of Cheshire's Charity.

Cheshire Crimebeat supports youth projects that help improve the local community.

Neston High School's Youth Project has contributed much to the station, in particular their work on the underpass.

Neston High School is a Specialist College of Science and Visual Arts.

In 2008 the murals in the underpass depicted the Liverpool Capital of Culture.

In 2010, the underpass was repainted to depict Neston.

Work at the station and with the school has been driven and supported by the Neston Civic Society.
