Runcorn Railway Station is a Cheshire Best Kept Station.
Runcorn was named The Best Staffed Station 2011 in the Cheshire Best Kept Station Competition. This is the second time Runcorn has won this award.
Keith Millard, Virgin Trains’ Station Manager for Runcorn, said: "This award is an accolade for my team who pride themselves on providing excellent customer service, which they deliver consistently day in, day out. I am very proud to be part of the team at Runcorn as Station Manager.”
In 2010 it won the Customer Care Award and in 2009 was named Cheshire's Best Staffed Station.
The relaunched Station has easy access and a pleasant and secure environment but the awards have been given for the staff who excel in face-to-face service.
