Acton Bridge Railway Station

Acton Bridge Railway Station is a Cheshire Best Kept Station.

In 2003 Acton Bridge Railway Station was highly commended by Cheshire Best Kept Stations, when the Women's Institute tended the gardens.

Since then a team from the Village, with support from London Midland and the Parish Council, have tended the station gardens and surrounds.

About Acton Bridge Railway Station:

Acton Bridge Railway Station is on the Birmingham to Liverpool Lime Street Line via Wolverhampton, Stafford, Crewe, Runcorn and Liverpool South Parkway.

You should note that a number of these services do NOT stop at the station.

The station is on the B5143 from Northwich to Frodsham directly opposite the Hazel Pear public house.

There is a bus service (Monday – Saturday) from outside the railway station to Northwich and Frodsham.

The station is unstaffed and has a no-charge car park for 15 vehicles.  There is no CCTV, toilets or payphone at this station.

Depending on where you are travelling from, you may find a more convenient service to Cuddington (2.6 miles away), Frodsham (6.3 miles away) or Warrington Bank Quay (9.7 miles away) Railway Stations.
