A piece of Nantwich railway heritage is being brought back to life with a little help from a class of seven-year-old artists in the town!
Wooden gingerbread figures painted by pupils at St Anne’s Primary School are on display in the flowerbeds at Nantwich Railway Station to celebrate the town’s links with the long-forgotten “Gingerbread Line” to Market Drayton.
The artwork has been created by Year 4 pupils as part of a project between the school and Transport for Wales Station Adopters.
